Easy Lemon Fudge Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips (or chopped white chocolate)
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp lemon extract (optional for stronger lemon flavor)
  • Yellow food coloring (optional, for a bright lemon look)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the White Chocolate:
    • In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
    • Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  2. Add Lemon Flavor:
    • Quickly stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, and lemon extract if using. Mix well.
    • Add a few drops of yellow food coloring if you’d like a lemony color boost.
  3. Set the Fudge:
    • Pour the mixture into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan, spreading it evenly.
    • Chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours until firm.
  4. Cut and Serve:
    • Once the fudge has set, lift it out of the pan, cut it into squares, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
